Safehold enabled an institutional net lease JV – backed by a publicly-traded REIT and a large sovereign wealth fund – to acquire Domain Tower at a substantially more attractive return profile in combination with a CMBS leasehold loan.

A 2019 vintage, 11-story, 310K SF, Class AA office in The Domain, Austin’s “second downtown,” Domain Tower is adjacent to Q2 Stadium (Austin FC) and 100% leased to Indeed on a long-term basis.

The leasehold interest has since been acquired by a multinational private equity and alternative asset manager.
